Webroot, the internet security firm is to create 50 technology jobs over the next two years and is to establish its international headquarters in the city. Based in Boulder, Colorado, Webroot was established in 1997. The company develops internet security solutions for consumers and businesses.
Webroot protects corporate networks from online and internal threats and allows consumers to download music, store digital files, bank, shop and search safely.
The 50 new employees will work in the areas of sales, marketing, customer support, inventory and engineering. All roles will be based in Ballsbridge, Dublin.
Webroot will have access to top talent in Ireland, the company plans to expand their global footprint to become the best company in the world at delivering security as a service.
